Adam Resnick
Adam Resnick counsels clients with regard to the selection, adoption, and use of trademarks and trade dress; the domestic and international registration of trademarks and copyrights; and the enforcement, licensing, and sale of intellectual property in the U.S. He is actively engaged in client counseling, brand development, and maintenance issues.
Mr. Resnick's practice also involves clearing trademarks, preparing and prosecuting U.S. trademark applications, and coordinating foreign trademark searches and applications. He also assists in litigation matters in the federal courts, as well as inter partes matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and has experience negotiating and settling domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy, and initiating litigation under the Anti-Cybersquatting Consumer Protection Act.
Prior to joining Mosaic, Mr. Resnick spent over eight years as a trademark, domain name, and copyright attorney with the law firm of Arent Fox LLP in its Washington, DC office and over four years with the law firm of DLA Piper. Mr. Resnick frequently presents on the topic of "Understanding Trademark Law" for Practising Law Institute. As an adjunct professor of law, Mr. Resnick co-taught a class on Trademark Law at The Catholic University of America School of Law.
Mr. Resnick received his B.A. from Syracuse University in 1993, and graduated cum laude in 1998 from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
