Scott Brown

Scott Brown provides corporate and transactional counseling with an emphasis on high technology businesses, capital development, executive compensation, corporate governance and contract review.   Mr. Brown has extensive experience with corporate organizational issues, and advises clients on matters ranging from venture capital investment to corporate reorganization.  

Prior to joining Mosaic, Mr. Brown served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel of webMethods, Inc. (Nasdaq: WEBM), a publicly traded technology corporation based in Fairfax, Virginia.   Mr. Brown was previously Of Counsel at Morrison & Foerster LLP in McLean, Virginia; an associate in Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman's corporate and securities group in McLean, Virginia; and an associate in the corporate and technology practice of Tucker, Flyer & Lewis in Washington, D.C.  

Mr. Brown graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University in 1991 and received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School in 1994.   He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia.
